Nuevo Vallarta fishing Report September

The September fishing report goes off with some incredible fishing and fantastic weather here in Nuevo Vallarta. Fishing has been excellent and we have been catching a lot of fish big game out there in the Pacific ocean. Bay fishing is show limits almost every day and deep-sea fishing is even hotter.
This month I wanted to explain about the rainy season and the best fishing grounds in the following months.
I receive many phone calls every month wondering about where the fish are, what the weather is going to be like, and how many fish they’re going to catch. During the summer months, we do get rain and it’s almost every day. This is fantastic as the weather cools off. This happens usually late in the evening. The days are sunny and beautiful. It’s a little-known fact that the rainy season actually helps our fishing offshore and inshore. The rain and all the nutrients that come from the mountains surrounding Nuevo Vallarta go right back into the ocean. This turns the fishing on and brings to fish in a lot closer. This refreshing rain we receive actually helps our fishing and happens almost every day. The weatherman may say rain every day, but the forecast will be nice and sunny during the day. If you are looking for great fishing action Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico is the place to be. read more

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report August

Nuevo  Vallarta fishing report starts off with some great catches from the south side of the bay.  We are already seeing some  perfect water temperatures around 83 to 90 degrees. This brings all different kinds of pelagic fish in Mexico for August fishing. When the water temperature gets past 80 degrees is when you start seeing a big fish move into our offshore waters. What can you expect to catch in Nuevo Vallarta this summer?  The offshore fishing is the time of the year we’re catching  sailfish, Marlin, mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna. The real question is where the fish will be biting and what do you have to go to catch them. read more

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report July

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report for the fourth of July. Most of the Anglers coming down to fish in Nuevo Vallarta know July is one of the best months to fish for the big game. We have huge Marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, and the most sought-after yellowfin tuna just to mention a few. If you’re looking for a big game action July is the month you want to be here. There is also some fantastic inshore fishing here in our bay.
The Nuevo Vallarta rainy season has already started with light rains in the evenings almost every day. Occasionally we’ll have light rains in the morning, but usually, they clear up around early in the morning. Then we have beautiful skies for fishing either inshore or offshore. These rains that we have in the evenings have a couple of effects that really heat up the fishing here in Nuevo Vallarta for the month of July. First and foremost, it brings in all kinds of bait closer which in turn brings in some of the bigger fish following the mullet, sardines, small tunas, and skipjack tunas. This is great because we’ll be doing a lot of four and six-hour trips over the holidays like July 4th. It’s always a big celebration here in beautiful Nuevo Vallarta for July 4th even though it’s traditionally not celebrated in Mexico. What we would like you to celebrate is the Fabulous fishing that we have during our summer months and July is one of the best months to fish here. When you’re coming down for summertime conditions you’ll just have to decide if you want to have some of the incredible Bay fishing or try your hand at going offshore for some of the really big fish that we catch here for the month of July. See our special rates for the fourth of July.  There are several different ways that we fish for the big marlin, tuna, and mahi-mahi. We use pitch baits, kites, lures, and skip baits to bring these fish up in our spreads. We’ll be using some of our favorite places that we see year in and year out that produce these huge pelagic fish. El Morro is the closest of the places we like to fish it can be done in about 8 hours. One of the world’s best places the Corbetena and it produces some of the biggest fish of the year here. El Banco is another hot spot where we catch some of the winning fish for the tournaments. Happens year after year. The huge pelagic fish live and feed there. The deep-sea fishing trip is 50 miles out and we need a 12 to 14-hour trip to get there and fish. This underground structure is famous as it located in thousands of feet of water, then comes up to a low point of 50 ft. Fishing here is almost for sure you were going to come home with a trophy fish. The fishing spot just happens to be one of our favorite places the fish with 5 to 10 lbs. bait for these huge Marlin. Not uncommon to catch the huge Yellowfin their schooling as well. So this July if you’re looking for a fun time and a great place to fish for the day we got you covered inshore or offshore fishing.
This is Captain Peter Vines and we’re looking forward to seeing you out there on the water for some amazing fishing days here in the month of July.

Nuevo Vallarta fishing

Nuevo Vallarta fishing, what’s happening in Nayarit this summer? This last month we have had more people than in the last few months. I believe this is due to the number of visitors wanting to go deep-sea fishing, the ones that have been vaccinated here and all over the world. Everyone is ready to get out of the house and have some fun. The fantastic news is the fish are biting in Nuevo Vallarta. This always happens when the rainy season starts. Most people that come here think this is a bad thing. ” Rainy season ” But it’s just the opposite. The light rains we have here up until October 15 helps the fishing tremendously. The rain makes the fish move active and we have more hookups. The pelagic fish move into the bay and offshore.
With all the bait moving in the bay and the water temperatures raising it’s normal for our fishing to increase. When fishing here in the summer months the water will be the dark cobalt blue we all love for offshore fishing. The water temperature ( 80 deg. ) Will be all over the map. We will see temperatures reach almost 90 deg. The will also be thermoclines all over the bay holding tuna and other great-eating fish like the mahi-mahi.
This is the time of the year we find these fish schooling all over the bay. They can pop us in an instant in a fishing frenzy.
With these favorable conditions, we start seeing mahi-Mahi, sailfish, marlin, and even nice tuna right here in the bay of flags.
The biggest changes for the last month in Nuevo Vallarta fishing have had to do with covid 19. There are so many people coming and fishing It’s been hard to keep up with them. I recommend emailing us or call our toll-free number ( 800 430 6048 ) before coming down to Nuevo Vallarta Mexico. The good news is we have had very few cases of covid 19 and each day it’s been decreasing.
We operate over 10 fishing vessels, but get so many requests it’s best to book before coming to the fishing grounds.
We most fishermen here being vaccinated, most anglers in the United States and Canada I’m sure we will be fishing every day.
This summer is a fantastic time to come and try your luck at one of the trophy fish we catch daily. The mahi-mahi will be here in full force and is one of the prized fish we catch. This is one of the best eating fish we catch. Most will be caught right here in the bay. The other pelagic fish every angler love to catch is the yellowfin tuna. Also caught right here in the Nuevo Vallarta bay area. The sailfish and marlin are showing up in good numbers. There will be many caught this summer. Imagine having one of the huge fish on the line for several hours of fun and excitement.
We are just getting started here in Nuevo Vallarta fishing for our summer fishing. Let us know when you’re coming down and please let us be a part of your Mexican fishcation. You will be happy you did. Check out what others said about our fishing expertise and boats.

The stripers are luring around with the water warming up but starting to see some black and blue marlin offshore. When the water get to  78 deg. mark we start seeing loads of these incredible pelagic fish. Most of these are 8 to 10 hrs. Trips. The dorado’s action are still here but not good numbers.  We have been catching some of these fantastic eating fish. They not only fun to catch but can’t be beaten for the grill.
